Let’s get real for a second! Yes, our bodies are naturally designed to detox. But here’s the problem.. we are exposed to thousands of chemicals daily, from the air we breathe to the products we use, the food we eat and even the water we drink. This constant exposure places an immense burden on our bodies, making it harder to stay alkaline, vibrant and truly healthy.
Think about it.. beyond environmental toxins, we’re also dealing with chemicals hidden in everyday products like deodorants, perfumes, tap water, preservatives, GMOs and household cleaners. Over time, this toxic overload contributes to inflammation, hormone imbalances, low energy, excess weight, and unfortunately, serious health conditions like autoimmune diseases, cancer and metabolic disorders.
Here’s something many people don’t realise.. cancer thrives in an acidic, toxic environment. When the body is overloaded with toxins and struggling to eliminate them effectively, disease has the perfect conditions to take hold.
There’s a difference between being “healthy” and truly thriving in health. Becoming health conscious goes beyond following generic advice like “eat in moderation” or “balance is key.” Too many so-called “health experts” are out there promoting low-calorie, processed diet foods, energy drinks and excessive high-intensity workouts, without understanding the full picture of what the body actually needs to detox, regenerate and thrive.
I get it! I used to be that innocent PT and nutritionist who thought eating in a calorie deficit was the key to health. I followed all the mainstream advice, believing that if you just ate less and moved more, you’d be “healthy". Sure you might lose a few KGs of body fat but those KGs will be found using a 'calorie deficit' only approach to fat loss. Times have changed (thankfully!) and through deep research and personal experience, I’ve learned the sustainable, real power of cleansing and nourishment over restriction.
What My Private Coaching Focuses On
In the first few weeks of my private coaching, I help my clients create a more detoxifying and health-supportive lifestyle. It’s not about fad cleanses or extreme detoxes, it’s about educating, empowering and aligning with your body’s natural rhythms.
